Austin Healey 3000 MKII (BJ7)

About this car

Very nice Austin Healey 3000 Mk2 that was new delivered in ivory white over a black leather interior in the USA in 1963. At the time it was a convertible that was praised for its almost saloon-like driving characteristics. The car was not only very comfortable but also still very sporty. The Austin Healey 3000 was a benchmark for all other sports cars of the time. You still reap the benefits of that today because the Austin Healey 3000 Mk2 is still an extremely pleasant car to drive.

This example was subject of some important mechanical restoration works, engine runs nice, gearbox works smoothly and problemless. Technically the car is very good and has sound mechanics.

Ready to rally

The body needs some restoration works as the paint presents defaults. To do well the body should be repainted, at least for those who would like the car as aesthetically pleasing as it is mechanically good.

Anyway, the car is ready to participate in historic rallies from day 1. The new color blend (dark grey over a cognac leather trim) appeals to many people. Why not start the summer in this pretty convertible…?
