This Alvis 12/70 Special is a recreation of the original Alvis 12/70 that came out in September 1937. The four-cylinder sports car was the lightweight version of the Alvis Silver Crest. The detachable pointed tail and cockpit remind of an Alfa Romeo 8C Monza with bucket seats covered with Italian leather including seat heating. The armrests and luggage space are covered in the same leather while the dashboard is recently rebuilt and fully functional.
The head and fog lights have additional stoneguards for protection and the race numbers are painted by hand. This Alvis Special also features a custom made spare wheel carrier, side step and an oil can bracket.
Mechanically, the engine is completely rebuilt and only 1500km have been driven since restoration in 2017.
