Gentleman`s Journal – June ’24 – Peking to Paris Edition

Dear friends of Belrose Classics,

We’ve had a great start of summer with 2 teams of Belrose Bentley Boys who finished the legendary Peking to Paris Motor Challenge, a participation in the Mille Miglia and we met some lovely people who share our passion on Top Marques Monaco. 8th Peking to Paris
The Peking to Paris Motor Challenge only had 8 editions between 1907 and 2024. This event isn’t only the most exclusive rally in the world, it’s the most challenging one as well. We’re so proud to have 2 teams of Belrose Bentley Boys (and girl!) in this adventurous rally.

Following the wheel tracks of Prince Borghese and the other pioneers of 1907. The car of choice for René, Jef, Berend and Ellen were our Bentley Specials. Have a look at their pictures of 14.500 km’s of pure adventure with many off road timed sections. 
We can’t even imagine what kind of stories you have after 36 days of rallying halfway around the globe. We went to welcome them in Paris for the finish and we got to hear some incredible anecdotes and funny stories. Want to read more? Royal visit at Top Marques Monaco
Our stand at the 2024 Top Marques in Monaco was a real eyecatcher. We’re happy for the passionate people we met there and to see that the classic car industry still excites more and more people. 
Besides all other classic car fans, we had the honor to welcome a Royal guest at our stand. Thank you Prince Albert II of Monaco for your visit to our stand. Lovely to see that we have a shared passion for elegance and nostalgia. A great way to end an awesome week at Top Marques Monaco.

Mille Miglia in a car by Belrose Classics
Together with the Peking to Paris Rally, the annual Mille Miglia is perhaps the most prestigious classic car race in the world. Since 1927, the 1000 Miglia has been identified with the city of its origins: Brescia. The place that is past, present and future, soul and heart of the race, starting point and finishing line since its first edition.
Our clients decided to participate with a 1956 Salmson 2300 Sport that was sold by Belrose Classics recently. Being one of only 188 and with 4 Mille Miglia entries in the past few years, this was the perfect car to take on the challenge. Great job Sven & Vincent! 

An old motto claims that fuel runs through the veins of the people of Brescia instead of blood. We’re sure we have some deep roots near Brescia as we shared this deep feeling of passion for classic automotibles. Thanks for this incredible event, see you again next year!

Route:
Cape Point → Cederberg mountains → Namaqualand region → Orange River area → Windhoek

Overview:
The Cape Town to Namibia Classic was a perfect escape from reality. To watch the African wildlife from the cockpit of a vintage Bentley is an incredible feeling. And the fast & fluent dirt roads are the perfect match for the big wheels on the Bentley Specials.

Route:
Portugal → Spain → Morocco → Mauritania → Senegal → Dakar

Some of our Belrose Bentley Specials participated in the Sahara Challenge. Against the elements in pure camaraderie.

Argentina, Peru, Chili & Bolivia

Overview:
In 2024, one of our clients participated in a stunning rally in South
America. The Belrose Bentley Special performed flawlessly in this
incredible scenery.

Dubai

Overview:
The Middle East is known for luxury and welfare. Our Bentley Specials blend
in perfectly in the city of Dubai and in the desert.

Peking To Paris

Route:
Peking → Ürümqi → Almaty → Kyzylorda → Baku → Tbilsi → Istanbul → Sofia → Salzburg → Paris

Overview:
Beijing is the start of many great adventures. The Peking to Paris Rally
is known as the toughest rally in the world.

Highlights:

  • Our Belrose Bentley Boys &
    Belles get to enjoy a great cocktail at the end of every stage where
    other participants usually only get to hold tools and spare parts.

Vehicle Experience:
Both our Justine as our Speed 6 Models have a “P2P” version that is ready for the ultimate long distance rally. Our cars are developed to be the most reliable and comfortable cars for a trip like this one.

Cambodja, Laos & Vietnam

Overview:
A couple of years ago, we used the rally in Cambodja, Laos and
Vietnam to test the durability and comfort of our Bentley Specials. This
trip has proven to be the start of many great international adventures.

Hong Kong

Overview:
We sold our first car in Hong Kong in 2024.

Overview:
With a sales point in Marbella, we are often found at the Costa del Sol.
Besides our own homebase in Spain, we also participated in some rallies in
and around this region.

Benelux

Overview:
Belgium is the home of the Belrose Bentley Specials. Here we have our
Headquarters, workshop and multiple classic cars driving around in local
rallies. Our neighbours in Luxemburg and The Netherlands also have a great
amount of Bentley Specials on the road.

Bentley Boys Tour 2023

Route:
Knokke → Brooklands → South Downs National Park → Isle of Wight and Hayling Island → Goodwood Motor Circuit → Heritage Coast

Date:
September 6 – September 10, 2023

Overview:
A unique Bentley heritage rally across England, combining legendary automotive destinations with scenic countryside drives. Designed for classic Bentley enthusiasts, this experience blends historic circuits, exclusive access, and refined hospitality with unforgettable roadbook journeys.

Highlights:

  • Channel crossing and scenic drive from Belgium to England
  • Exclusive visit and photoshoot at Brooklands Museum
  • Roadbook rally through the rolling landscapes of South Downs National Park
  • Coastal driving experience across Isle of Wight and Hayling Island
  • VIP experience at Goodwood Motor Circuit including races, hospitality, and paddock access
  • Final scenic drive along the Heritage Coast with views of the iconic white cliffs.

Vehicle Experience:
Participants drive pre-1954 classic Bentley cars in teams of two, fully supported with roadbooks, logistics, and premium hospitality. The experience includes curated routes, luxury hotel stays, dining, and full event support, ensuring a seamless and exclusive rally experience.
