Flawless E-Type

Every component, from the monocoque shell to the smallest fastener, has been disassembled, inspected, restored, or replaced. The body was stripped to bare metal and rebuilt with precise panel fit, correct seam work, and flawless alignment—retaining the purity of the Series 1 shape with its covered headlights, delicate bumpers, and unmistakable long bonnet. The paintwork has been finished to concours standards, offering a depth and clarity appropriate for a car of such pedigree.

Mechanically, the legendary 3.8-litre XK straight-six has been fully rebuilt to factory specifications, breathing through triple SU carburettors and producing the crisp, eager performance for which early E-Types are renowned. The four-speed Moss gearbox has been completely overhauled, ensuring the characteristically mechanical yet satisfying shift quality that defines the earliest cars. Suspension, steering, electrical systems, braking components, cooling system, and the complex independent rear suspension assembly have all been renewed with factory-correct parts and finishes.

The interior has been restored with equal fidelity. Its aluminium-trimmed centre console, early-pattern toggle switches, and beautifully trimmed leather seats recreate the unmistakable atmosphere of a first-series E-Type. All instruments have been rebuilt, wiring looms replaced, and every detail—from the weave of the carpets to the stitching of the hides—completed according to original specifications.
