With a remarkable engine & torque upgrade compared to the 230SL and very low production numbers, this is often described as the ultimate Pagoda, with a production number of no more than 5196 units during only 14 months. Over 60% of thses cars were sold in the US, making them even more rare here in Europe.

This example, new delivered in France was subject of a thorough restoration. Every single part of the car was dismantled, restored, renewed if necessary or even improved. The car is in its original Mercedes datacard color blend hardtop included. The pretty timeless icon comes with its original unrestored manual 4-gearbox which was replaced by a BMW E24 manual 5-gearbox offering the car a sportier driving experience.
